My technical writing career took me deeper and deeper into systems and technology, and these guides involved coordination with widely dispersed development teams and personal testing of complex systems and frameworks. All three were produced in FrameMaker, which is best for heavy-weight tasks like extensive cross-referencing within volumes and across groups of volumes. I’m equally comfortable writing for application end-users or more technical audiences. Projects are usually ported to Web help.
